Meteors V.S. Crater

Meteor is a bright star which always fly into the night sky quickly. It might be the small planet or the gravel of comet. While the meteor get into the Earth's aerosphere, it will get burned and last about one or two seconds. That is the right time that you see the meteor with a shining tail in the night sky.

The crater was formed when the small planet hit the Earth. One of the famous tourist attractions - Arizona, is located in the southwest region of the United States, is a crater. It is said that it was formed when the crater fall into Arizona.

Here is the experiment on making artificial crater. First, pour flour into a washbasin. Second, drop a small plastic ball into the washbasin, and it will cause a hole. Third, take out the small ball and you will find the hole which was formed when the plastic ball fall from the high way. The hole is just the crater.

Travel

There are many reasons for travel, such as for leisure, for visiting friends or relatives and for business. Today, I would like to share my experience of exhibition to Hong Kong for business.

My ex-company always participates in trade fair 4 times a year on a regular basis. In my opinion, it is a tired matter, but it is a good way to improve my English in Speaking & Listening. Since visitors come from all over the world and you will learn different way of expression from different countries.

One of the benefits from the travel is you can visit the country, shopping or window shopping after work. Now, I would like to introduce two must-eat food in Hong Kong.

1. Guilinggao : You will find it at this shop, named Hui Lau Shan. This is a famous shop, which sell cold drinks, ice cream, and ice with fruits. There are 50 branches in Hong Kong. It is said that it made of Chinese medicine and is tonic and nutritional.

2. 燉奶 : It made of fresh milk, albumin (egg white) and sugar. First, boil the ingredients for 30 minutes and then pour it into a small bowl and steam for 15 minutes. One bowl cost about HK$16. It is expensive, but you must try. You can find it at Causeway Bay and Yau Ma Tei.

Solar Energy

In my opinion, Solar Energy will be more widely used in the near future. Recently years, there are many products, which generate electricity by using Solar Panel, for instance solar flashlight, solar energy bicycle, solar energy charger and so on. The solar energy charger has been launched into the market already. It is convenient for people to charge for mobile phone, MP3 players, i-pod, and other small electrical equipment. The most important is that the small-scale panel is cheap, not expensive. That is the reason why I think the Solar Energy will be more widely used than other alternative energy sources. Furthermore, it would be popular in the near future.

Introduction of Myself

I grew up in the countryside. There are seven members in my family, my parents, two older brothers, one younger sister ,one younger brother and me. My parents make a living by farming. They are busy everyday. So, when I was seven years old, my father teach me how to cook rice by using wood/lumbers; and further, when I was 11 years old, my mother teach me how to cook dishes. After that I cook dinner for my family almost everyday. Therfore, my father is proud of me. He think that I am a good helper of my mom and he is love me very much.

Speaking of my career, to tell the truth, I did not find my favorite job until I am 30 years old. Since I get marry early and become a houswife for seven years. However, I enjoy the time of being a housewife because of my two lovely kids.
So, when I want to go for a work , I am aware that I did not have any skills because school I studied is Common High school, not Vocational High School. And I have a High School diploma only. So, I decided to study further, the only subject I am interested is English. So I choose Applied Foreign English at Open Business College Affiliated With National Taipei College of Business to get the College degree. After three years, I make it. And I am so happy. In the meantime, I finally know what I want to do and what job I love. That is my existing job- export business. Up to now, I have engaged in exporting business for almost 9 years . I always think that God is nice to me. At least, I can make a living by using my only ability -English.

What I want to share with you is interest is a key point for us to learn one thing. If you know what you want, what you love, just go for it. If not, keep going, one day, you will find it. Always some people find it early, but some do not. No matter it is early or late, when you find it, you could do a great job.

God of The Kitchen ( II )

Therefore, he goes to meet with his ex-wife again. His ex-wife ask him " where are the Zongzis?" He said " They were robbed ". At the sme time, her husband gets back. Zao Jun try to hide himself, he urgently hide himself inside the cooking stove . The man would like to take a shower and he said " I will boil the water myself". His wife said " No, you cannot do it, I will do it for you". However, her husband persist in boiling water by himself. He put the firewood into the cooking stove and fire the wood. Therefor, Zao Jun died in the cooking stove.

After Zao Jun pass away, his ex-wife worship toward the cooking stove everyday. Her husband ask her " Why do you worship the cooking stove everyday"? Surely, she could not tell the truth. She said so " We need to thank the cooking stove and pots. We can live in the world because of thess equipment can live in the world".

Afterward, everyone think that she is right. Every household worship the cooking stove and pots. The Jade Emperor rewards Zao Jun as the Kitchen God. Besides, he must present the yearly report to Jade Emperor on Dec. 24th of the Chinese calendar. This is the story of Zao Jun.

God of The Kitchen ( I )

In Chinese folktale, the Kitchen God, named Zao Jun. Before he become the Kitchen God. He is an idle guy. He does nothing everyday. There is one old saying " The devil makes work for idle hands".

Once he borrows from other people for gamble. He gambled away all his money, property, and even his wife. His wife, therefore, remarry a man who lives by chopping firewood.

Zao Jun has no money to buy things, so he goes to meet with his ex-wife. His ex-wife makes a couple of Zongzis and puts money into the Zongzis. Meanwhile, she tell him that these Zongzis are for you , remember, do not give them to others.

Afert leaving, he bump into the people who loan money to him. They said " pay back the money". He said that I do not have money. They said " What is it on your hands?" He answers " they are for eating". They said " That is fine" and rob the Zongzis and run away.

Formosan Black Bear

Formosan black bear, also known as the white-throated bear because there is a V-shaped white mark on the chest. They are strong and sturdy, with rough, thick paws, a short tail. They can stand up straight while they are seeking foods or getting threatened or attacked. They are omnivorous animal. They eat almost anything, such as dead snake, rotten meat . Tree-climbing is their specialty.

Formosan black bears are always solitary. Wintertime is their mating season. Also, it is the season for sleeping. The bear mother give birth after is pregnant with 8-9 months. The mother bear will nurse her cubs till they are one years old. When the bear cub is strong enough, they will leave the ven and live dependent.

Currently, they can be found at the Central Mountain Range of Taiwan only. The Formosan black bears were listed as endangered animals.
