What are the differences and similarities between shopping in the countryside and city? I have been lived in the countryside until I graduated from high school. I found that the shopping habits of people in the country and city are very different. For instance, the place they go for shopping and the times they shop.
People who live in the countryside always shop the articles which will be used daily at the grocery around their village. Such as eggs, soybean sauce, salt, sugar, flour and so on. Besides, they seldom go to the market for shopping the vegetables, fishes and meat. Since most of people raise chicken, duckling, goose and plant variety vegetables themselves. They only go to the market when there is a special festival, like Chinese New Year, the Moon Festival and etc.
While, people who live in the city usually go to the market or hyper market for shopping vegetables, fished, meat and the articles they use daily. Most people go to the hyper market for shopping once a week on Saturday or Sunday. The reason is that city people always busy with work from Monday to Friday.
However, recently years, people who live in the countryside have changed their shopping habits as well. Since more and more supermarkets are built in the countryside. It is convenient for people go to shop.

Mercy Killing
Should mercy killing be legalised or not? It is a controversial issue all the time. The true meaning of mercy killing is "good death". It is a way to end the life of the patient by injecting deadly drugs or stop curing patient who suffer from uncureable disease. Personally, I think that everyone has no right to end other's life unless the person say "yes" themselves.
Wang Xiao - Ming who suffered brain damage in a car accident in 1963 and became a well known household name in Taiwan. Her parents took care of him until they die. Afterward, her younger sister instead of their parents to look after her. It is a heavy burden for a family to care for a patient more than 40 years. Her mother had ever expressed to Present that grant mercy killing for Wan Xiao-Ming. However, her father did not agree to do so because she is his loved daughter and he do think that she has "feeling" all the time.
Nevertheless, some people will request for mercy killing. That is based on the following reasons. First, they are afraid of thier family with havey burden on economy or spirit. Second, they do not want the doctor using senseless treatment to support their life. They hope that they can die cerenely.
In fact, the poor people easily tend to accept mercy killing since they are unable to bear the huge medical fee. Besides, they even may think that the cost of a dead man is lower than a lived one. To sum up, it is difficult to say mercy killing is right or wrong.

The Blue Butterfly
Pete, is a ten years old of boy who suffers from brain cancer. He has 3-6 monthes of life only. He likes collecting insect specimen. It is said that the blue butterfly is the most beautiful one in the world. It has magic, and is a miracle. The blue butterfly exists in the tropical rainforest only. The only person who see the precious butterfly is the entomologist - Alan. Alan is also the idol of Pete. Because of love, Pete's mother appeal to Alan for taking his son to find the blue buttefly. One of the most important reasons is that is Pete's only wish. He would like to find it before he die of the cancer. If he can see it in person, he will not regret.
For Pete, this is a hard work because he is unable to walk himself. Howeve, he is brave. He overcomes a lot of difficulties during the travel. Finally, he find the blue butterfly and the cancer miraculously disappear.
In the modern times, more and more people get cancer. I believe that cancer is not our enemy. The real enemy is ourself. We always fear death, and soon we was beaten off by the sickness. So, the best way is to keep a regular mind, and we could beat the deadly cancer.
There is another spectacular scene except for this is a touching story. It is that watch the movie is just like we get into the zoo. You will clearly see all kinds of insects, animales in the movie, such as dragonfly, Atlas beetle, butterfly collects nectar, ladybird, monkey, crocodile, snake and so on. This movie is worth seeing.
Chinese New Year
When I was a kid, I love Chinese New Year. For now, I alwasy think that Chinese New Year is just a holidy that I can visit my parents, my brothers and my friends. The first reason I do like it is that I need to pay lots of red envelopes. The second one is that I will be busy from the New Year's Eve to the senod day of the New Year.
It is tired on the New Year's Eve. First, I need to go to the market early for preparing the family reunion dinner. The most thing I do not like is that the market is crowded and noisy. I hate this kind of market. Furthermore, after dinner , I need to give 17 red enevelopes. It is a great loss to me. Year after year, I always think why we need to give red envelopes. It looks like we are playing a game " gift exchange". Do not you think so?
When the first day of the Chines New Year comes, we must get up early and go to temple for worship. Here you will see many people are lining up for An Tai Sui. This is a very special scene on Chinese New Year. I always think that if we do so and we will get good luck ? If not, we will unlucky? Does anyone can prove? Can we do some good things for praying good luck instead of doing An Tai Sui? Such as we can do useful things for the poor and aged man or orphans on this day.

Coffee Cup
Do you prefer drinking coffee through the small aperture on the lid of the coffee cup? From now on, stop doing it, and remember to take off the lid of the coffee cup before enjoying the coffee. t is reported that these plactic lid will release Hormone Bisphenol A when they are under high temperature over 65℃.
"BPA" is short for Bisphenol A. It is a kind Phthalate and widely be used for variety of plastic containers, including plastic feeding bottle, plastic kettle and so on. It will interfere with endocrine. For women, it will result in an irregular period, infecundity and even increase the risk of breast cancer. For men, it easily cause a hypoplastic testis.
According to the Research Center for Environmental Trace Toxic Substances in National Cheng Kung University, no matter which pltastic container, plastic bag are, they should not be used for hot drink, food or for heating or microwave.
However, I think that the best way is to go back to our old times. I remember, when I was a kid, in the country, we always take our own cup or bowl to buy the snack , such as noodle with soup or anything, from the vendor. This is not only eco-friendly but also is healthy.
One of My Teachers
When I was in junior high school, my teacher - Mr. Zhou, who is my mentor. I always remember him because he is the first man who praise me for diligence.
One day, he came to my home for interview my parents. At that time, my father, mother were busy with harvesting the vegetables. Therefore, I stayed at home for waiting my teacher. When my teached come, I call my mother get back to home for meeting my teacher. I still remembered that one of the questions he asked. " What does usually she(me) do after school ? My mom said that we are farming family , so all my children must help with harvesting vegetables, and the girls must help with housework. For her (me), she always goes to the farm for help after she finish her homework.
My teacher is very happy when my mother say so. On the second day, Mr. Zhou praised me in our class, and wanted my classmate to applaud for my performacne. Afterward, he named me as a model student. I was so glad that Mr. Zhou did for me. Owing to his encourage, I studied hard. Moreover, he told me that if you chose to study at Common High School, not Vocational School, you must continue to go to the university. I always keep this word in my mind. That is the reason why I insist on getting a university degree.
Mr. Zhou is the man who deeply influence me. I appreciate him.

A friend in need is a friend indeed
At the beginning of January 2011, a severe flood in the third largest city - Brisbane , Australia. It is right on the rain season. The torential rains result in the flood. The city of Brisbane was flooded, and the villagers were trying to evacuate.
In the meantime, one engineer saw a frog floating on water, and it was on the back of a snake. It is amazing that the frog ride on the snake. In the animal world, frogs and snakes are enemy. Always, the sanke eat the frog. From the picture, the old saying "A friend in need is a friend indeed" can be quoted on the animal world. It is a touching story during the major disaster. Whereas, in the human world, it is reported that Queensland police had already arrested at least 10 people who looted the town during the incident. It is a matter of sarcasum. Do we should respect the snake , and review ourselves - selfish human?
