Amber is the resin of Conifer. When the tree resin dropped into the ground and pass a long period , they fossilized. This is the Amber. Its color is yellow with transparent. The one contains insects can be a decoration, such as ant, fly, spider and mosquito etc.
The most superior amber is extracted from the Baltic Sea along the coast. The handicraftsmen in Republic of Lithuania are famous for creating amber gem. European believe that amber possess magical power which can repel evils. Amber is composed of 79% of carbide, 10% of oxygen and 11% of hydrogen . It`s hardness on Mohs scale is between 2.0 and 2.5. It will melt and spread the flavor of rosin when heat the amber get up to 150 degrees centigrade.
